The California Museum's California Hall of Fame is a groudbreaking event, destination and exhibit that celebrates the inspirational contributions of extraordinary Californians who have made their mark on the state, the nation and the world. The 2008 class of inductees are Dave Brubeck, Jane Fonda, Theodor “Dr. Seuss” Geisel, Robert Graham, Quincy Jones, Jack LaLanne, Dorothea Lange, Julia Morgan, Jack Nicholson, Dr. Linus Pauling, Leland Stanford and Alice Waters.
