Felicia, who recently received her MFA from Mills College, is a poet and writer who has spent her career working with and reporting on the struggles and endurance of humans in distress – students, immigrants, and workers who use ingenuity, hard work and human dignity, determined to live forward, in defiance of fences and fear.
