The Sacramento French Film Festival is an annual event held in July. It celebrates the present as well as the rich history of French cinema featuring new releases and rarely seen classics. It is the only festival dedicated to French cinema in Northern California and one of only two on the West coast. The Sacramento Bee described the Festival as “the Cinematic Highlight of Sacramento's Summer”.

OPENING NIGHT RECEPTION AND FILM - FRIDAY, JUNE 19

Doors open at 8:00pm for patrons who are attending the opening night film but not the opening night reception.


Opening Night Reception begins at 6 o'clock in the lobby of the Crest Theatre.
Opening night film may be attended without attending the reception.
Open Wine Bar by Barefoot Wine, Water by Perrier & Metromint. Catering by Aioli Bodega Española, Café Rolle, Chanterelle, Grange, Kru, The Melting Pot, Opa ! Opa !, Selland’s & Ella, Sun Flour Baking Company, Whole Foods Market, baguette by Boudin Bakery & Café and coffee by Coffee Works. Seasoned with music by DJ Christophe.
