Solomon's Storefront

Add Review/Comment
As Solomon Turner's past and present collide, he fights to make sense of his life and to find its meaning and purpose. He finds worth in his young neighbor Tyler Brown, a 12 year old boy who is seeking to define himself, in a house filled with women and a neighborhood full of bullies. The father and son relationship deepens between them as each one struggles to say goodbye to all he has known and the other searches to find his place in a life that is just beginning to emerge. When adversity strikes, each must decide what it means to truly live up to one’s potential. Solomon’s Storefront is a human story about life, loss, the aging process, youth and what it meant during the 1960s, to be a Black man, growing or grown in America.
