The Cal Expo fairgrounds come alive every summer as the State Fair becomes a "city within a city" that hosts nearly one million visitors. Folks come from near and far for the memorable delights of this 156-year-old extravaganza that includes exciting exhibits, amazing attractions, live entertainment, and the Magnificent Midway.
Weird exhibits, Wild shows & Wacky collections are bringing BIG FUN to the 2009 California State Fair!
-Big Foot, Munchkin Village, UFOs and ghostly tours are sure to WOW even the most seasoned fairgoer.
-Hourly entertainment from bird shows and face painters to magicians, acrobats and the Fire Pixie fire dancers.
-The unique WWW Zone in front of the California Building features solar powered stage enhancements from PG&E, free photos from -Jackson Rancheria and casting calls from John Robert Powers.
-Be amazed by unusual displays of wacky memorabilia and many more off-the-wall California attractions in the Weird, Wild and Wacky Exhibit in Building 3.
