View 42 award-winning photographs recently given Gold, Silver or Bronze Awards as part of an annual, prestigious competition organized by the Center for Railroad Photography & Art. The theme of the 2008 competition was “a sense of place” as it related to the railroad environment. A total of 15 photographers located around the world were honored, virtually all with multiple entries and including four from California.
