17th Annual Presidents Day Weekend Dance Convention

A worldwide competition in the California state dance, West Coast Swing. Capital Swing Dancers (a not for profit org.) host an all level competition. Featuring workshops and performances by "So you think you can dance" winner, Benji Schwimmer. Experience the California state dance.

Competitors come from around the world to showcase their talent in this four day fun filled event. Competitors range in age from 10-100 yrs old and skill levels are from newcomer to professional. The public is invited to come and watch the show or even partake in a free beginning class. If you love music, you will hear blues, rock, funk, country, hip hop, soul music and more.

See performances by past contestants on "So you think you can dance", "15 seconds of fame","Star Search", and the soon to be released movie "Luv n' dancing" starring Amy Smart.
