'Luck be a lady tonight ...' In Frank Loesser's musical fable of Broadway, falling in love is a crap shoot – a matter of chance as well as the heart. The colorful denizens of 1940s New York – showgirls and gamblers, missionaries and gangsters –create musical comedy magic accompanied by Broadway's most rib-tickling ditties: 'A Bushel and a Peck,' 'If I Were a Bell' and 'Sit Down, You're Rockin' the Boat.' Recommended for theatregoers 8 and over.
