Multicultural Literary Arts Festival

In celebration of the Sacramento Poetry Center's 30 th Anniversary!! Free fun for the whole family! This very kid-friendly event will be hosted by the Sacramento Poetry Center. Bring the family to visit UC Davis Extension’s writing activities table on this beautiful day of spoken word, music, art, children’s activities and much more.

This event will combine performances, exhibits and interactive activities for children. We are offering each participant (organization, individual or business) FREE exhibit space for the day and invite you to create at least one interactive activity for children for your space. We will also have several areas for ongoing performances throughout the day.

If you would like to participate, please register online at http://www.mccaf.net by Friday, March 13, 2009.

This event will be at no cost to you and will give you an opportunity to highlight your group’s activities and share them with the community. We are hoping that this event will introduce children and their families to many of Sacramento’s regional arts groups and give us the chance to celebrate art together.
