Eddie, a simple long-shoreman takes in two Italian men living illegally in the country. As time passes one of the men falls for Eddie's niece. Eventually, Eddie goes to dangerous and fatal lengths to keep his niece to himself as he wrestles with his own desires for the girl in this dramatic and classic play.
