Written and Performed by Donald E. Lacy Jr.

When is Racisim Funny? When Bay Area's veteran comedian, actor, writer, film-maker and San Francisco radio show host Donald E. Lacy Jr. uses a unique blend of comedy, personal experience, and drama to examine the social ill of racism and it's imposing influence on his early life. COLORSTRUCK examines the differences and misunderstandings that lead to racism. It is the hilariously funny, yet poignant story of how a light-skinned African-American is treated and sometimes, ridiculed by darker-skinned Black people.

COLORSTRUCK - Laughter & Reflection are the key words as post performance discussions provide audience members an opportunity to discuss race relations, diversity, and their own experiences as they seek to build bridges and tear down the walls and barriers that separate us as humans beings. Post performance discussion celebrate our unity and move forward as one race: The Human Race.
