Join the Network for a Healthy California—Gold Country Region Retail Program, FoodMaxx and Health Education Council for Fruit and Veggie Fest at FoodMaxx in Sacramento (3860 Florin Road) to learn how you can make budget-friendly changes to improve your family’s health.
The event is part of a month-long statewide effort to empower low-income families to be Champions for Change by making healthy active living a priority. Free to the public, the Gold Country Region Fruit and Veggie Fest will offer local shoppers a fun-filled day of educational, interactive activities designed to highlight ways to purchase and prepare healthy foods for their families.
