Season seven American Idol winner David Cook is kicking off the 2009 California State Fair with an Opening Day Concert! Millions around the country fell in love with rock belter David Cook while watching him week after week on American Idol. Cook won the competition thanks to viewers connecting with his rich, unfettered voice and passionately intense performances, not to mention his down-to-earth Midwestern charm. Now, with the release of his self-titled major-label debut album, this gifted 25-year-old is eager to show fair fans what he can do.
This event takes place on the Golden 1 Stage within the State Fair at Cal Expo.
