For lovers of fine ballet folklorico dancing, the Corazón de México performance will definitely touch your heart strings. In fact, “corazón” means heart in Spanish and is the perfect word to describe a show that draws on music and dance that is the essence of Mexican culture.

Presented by Sacramento’s distinguished Compañía Mazatlán Bellas Artes (CMBA), the colorful spectacular will showcase both indigenous and folkloric dance traditions, with accents on award-winning pieces performed in international competitions. Add a full mariachi band to this artistic banquet as well as a talented musical ensemble playing a variety of popular rhythms, and the result is a lively and passionate rendition of Mexican heritage, both past and present.
