The Sacramento Outdoor Film Festival will be unlike any other film festival in Northern California. The SOFF will screen pre-released, critically acclaimed films from the past and present in the great outdoor arena of Cesar Chavez Park located in downtown Sacramento.
In this, our inaugural season, we will be screening four films that will certainly be enjoyed by all. Some films are recognizable classics, others you may never have heard of before. In either case, you are sure to be entertained. The best part is that admission is absolutely free of charge to all ages.
August 8: Rebel Without A Cause featuring James Dean
August 15: Rudy featuring Sean Astin
August 22: Best In Show with Christopher Guest & Eugene Levy
August 29: Spiderman with Toby McGuire & Kirsten Dunst
Bringing you a quality outdoor cinema experience requires some pretty technologically advanced stuff, so the SOFF will feature state of the art projection and sound to create the most mind blowing outdoor cinema experience you have ever experienced.
Hoppy Brewing Company will be providing all of the Beer, wine, hotdogs & popcorn that you can eat! There will also be vendor booths and a video game competition! Winners get to play on the Big Screen the final night!
