Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS) and Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation will showcase Sacramento area artists at the 2nd Annual Art Bra show September 10 – 19.

The goal of the show is to bring a public awareness about the plight of breast cancer and its effects on all women. Participants in Women’s Wisdom Art, a program of SFBFS that helps women overcome loss, depression, cancer or low self-confidence, have attended courses about breast health, cancer treatment and survival in preparation for the show.

A special 2nd Saturday reception and silent auction will be held for the 2nd Annual Art Bra Show.

This collaborative show between SFBFS and Albie Aware will display over 160 pieces of art from 100 Sacramento artists. A symbol of a bra is incorporated into every sculpture, painting, sketch and tapestry as a symbol of awareness of this challenging disease.
