Design Downtown is a creative block party! On the third Saturday of every month the Sacramento News & Review will transform Downtown Sacramento into a bustling creative district with fashion, music and arts.

With over 40 local art, craft, and fashion vendors, community art projects, and live entertainment this FREE event promises something for everyone. Discover some of the city's greatest DIY artists while supporting local businesses.

- Free, all-ages event, open to the public
- Over 50 local arts & crafts vendors create an exciting and unique shopping experience
- Live music performances by Live Maninkins, The Cowboy Killers, Lite Brite and Scientific Remedies
- Other performers include Autumn Sky, Jazz Ghitan, Core Dance Collective and more!
- Live art projects by Crocker Museum
- Beer Garden at Cosmo
- Twin Soup after party at Social by Shaun Slaughter, Jon Droll and Crookone
- Fashion shows by Dee Aguilar Designs, Mikobella Designs and Atelier

Our hope is that thousands of people of all ages will embark upon downtown to participate in this exciting event; street vendors, community art projects, trunk sales, a fashion bazaar, fashion shows, a beer garden and live entertainment on multiple stages will be just some of the sights and activities that people will take in.

Art. Fashion. Live music and entertainment. Something for everyone. FREE.

This event launched on July 18 and was a great success! It will continue to take place on the third Saturday of each month following (September 19, October 17...).
