Air Force Day at the Discovery Museum

Off we go to the "wild blue yonder" with the United States Air Force! Air Force teams will hold demonstrations, talks, and host hands-on displays throughout the grounds of the Discovery Museum Science & Space Center, and you are invited!

See the newest equipment the Air Force uses to complete their missions: there will be fire-fighting equipment, aeromedical team demonstrations, and even a bomb-disposal robot! As a special treat, the Brass Quintet from the Golden West Air Force Band will provide stirring and heartfelt patriotic music.

Here’s the lineup: • F-22 demonstration team members from Langley AFB • Brass Quintet from the Golden West Air Force Band from Travis AFB • Fire Fighters from Travis AFB • C-17 team from Travis AFB • Aeromedical team from Travis AFB • EOD (Bomb disposal unit) from Travis AFB
