The 3rd Annual Curtis Fest will present diverse artists, musicians and food. The free daytime event will again be nestled under the lofty heritage oaks and elm trees in the middle of the historic residential Curtis Park neighborhood in Sacramento. The festival will take place in the 18-acre William Curtis Park itself, bounded by 6th Ave. and 8th Ave. and East Curtis Drive and West Curtis Drive.
The festival is presented by the Sierra-Curtis Neighborhood Association.
Festival co-director Natalie Thiele notes that 60 northern California artists are participating.“The original art and craft-work for sale in this festival is complemented by the natural setting of shade trees, live music and food,”

-acrylics (Pam Burns, Doris Brown),
-ceramics (Connie Esquibel, Marsha Elam, Geri Maslowski, Aiyana Pearson),
-jewelry (Lee Coldren, Leticia Botello, Olga Barmina, Joy Butler, Alex Ives),
-pen & inks (Greg LaTraille),
-garden sculpture (Stephen Cook),
-wearable art (Kathy Ebert, Jacqueline Blondeau, Jodi Vidad)… and more!
Two stages of live all acoustic music of many genres will entertain crowds from noon-5:00pm. Those artists include:
North Stage
1:00pm-2:00pm- Johnny "Guitar" Knox (blues)
2:15pm-3:15pm-Richard March/Tyler Ragle(Americana)
3:30pm-4:30pm-The Poplollys(Country/hillbilly)
South Stage
1:30pm-2:30pm-Ross Hammond & Brady McKay(jazz vocals & guitar)
2:45pm-3:45pm-The Alternative String Band(classical string quartet playing Beatles/Led Zeppelin)
4:00pm-5:00pm-Jazz Gitane (gypsy jazz)
A world of food/beverage vendors include Crepe au Jardin, BBQ Express, Susie's Tacos, and Shasta Shaved Ice.
Children’s entertainment and activities will include and face painting and clowns, plus art activities for all kids age groups.
