New Helvetia Theatre presents Jonathan Larson's musical Tick, Tick...BOOM. Before Larson created Rent, he explored his own life as a songwriter. An intimate portrait of the artist turning 30 while trying to write the great American musical, Tick, Tick...BOOM reminds us to pursue our dreams through life’s most difficult challenges. "What does it take to wake up a generation?"

      This was a terrific performance that brought the tangible intimacy of a black box theatre home. The talent was amazing, and the themes relevant. Very friendly and family like staff. I wish that they had been able to do a little more with the lighting. Amazing for the price! Collapse
