The businesses in the neighborhood known as The Handle District have banded together to provide you a night of free music throughout the neighborhood. All venues are within a block of each other. Stroll around and catch all the acts. Six Bands and Six Venues. The Handle District is roughly bounded by K St and Capitol between 17th and 19th.
Locations & Bands:
Barber's Alfa Romeo Shop - The Bathtub Gins. Country. Between K & L St. on 18th.
Yogurtagogo - High Strung. Acoustic everything. Corner of 19th & L.
Paesanos - Brieta Carpenter & her guitar. Multitalented 15 year old sensation. 18th & Capitol.
Le Petite Paris - Mike Blanchard and the Whispering Chingaderos. On 19th between L & Capitol.
Bows & Arrows - Hand Drum and Acoustic guitar. Between 17th & 18th on L St.
Buckhorn Grill - Nice Nugs & a Half. Corner of 18th & L (on L street side).
