Learn about the art and music of the gilded age during this special program presented by the Crocker and the Sacramento Opera. Enjoy performances of German lieder, or art songs, and opera arias popular during the Crocker Family’s Grand Tour of Europe from 1869 to 1871. Curator William Breazeale and Sacramento Opera Artistic Director Timm Rolek will open and close the performance with brief remarks.
