"Feva In Da FunkHouse" is a eight piece band composed of a group of multi-talented musicians, MCs, and a soulful songstress.

The band features Larry "Animal" Belton Jr. providing the heartbeat on the drums. He adds an impeccable style that messes hip-hop with jazz and gospel influenced sound that provides "Da Feva" with a unique sound like no other. Animal has been playing drums most of his life (15+ years) and has toured throughout the U.S. and overseas displaying his talents.

On bass is Malcolm2001 who also brings a wealth of experience to the band. Mal has played and toured the nation with many groups and has performed various genres of music including punk rock, bluegrass, funk, and metal. The influences of these styles allow for a distinctive hip-hop sound that makes listeners take notice.

Providing flavor on the guitar is Anthony "Maurice" Singleton. As a person who has appeared on albums that have sold over 500,000 copies and one who has toured the nation, he displays seasoned and heart stopping skills on the guitar. Nothing short of a showman on stage, he doesn't lose a note on the "ax" even when he amazes an audience with his ability to play his guitar behind his back.

On the "sprinkle boards" (properly nicknamed because of the various purposes served) is Wes Marsh. Wes Marsh uses his expertise as a hip-hop producer in giving the band the proper percussions, keyboard chords, and other background sounds that adds the small intangibles for a worthy musical product.

Now for the introduction of the MCs and songstress: lead vocals are precisely handled by front man Magilla a.k.a Versed. He revolutionizes the art of MCing with his socially consious, intellectual lyricism fused with the street laced smoothness he woos the ladies with. He captures the audience immediately when he grabs the microphone and the crowd is bound to be captivated by the rhymes verbalized by this MC.

He pairs up with the dynamic duo "Street Kin" who's the epitome of how a two-man group is supposed to "get down." The group is made up of L.B. a.k.a Xclusive and J.R. a.k.a. Infinity. Xclusive is an intellect/poet that shoots off mind-boggling metaphors and analogies describing the trials and tribulations of being black male in todays's society. His cleverness at street prose likens him to a modern day, hip-hop Langston Hughes. Not to mention, to perfect his craft he's always up for any rap battle brought his way.

Infinity is a silky-voiced MC whose lyrics speak way beyond his years, with his ability to vocalize the most rugged, street core lyrics without watering down the content or glorifying senseless violence, his words paint a cinematic picture that's as entertaining as they come. He also encompasses a flow style that is nothing short of flawless.

Last, but definately not least is the First Lady of the camp, Mz. Bebe London. Bebe adds soulful, sultry, melodious, vocals that create an urban appeal for listeners. She deviates from the bubble gum sound that surrounds mainstream radio, but instead possesses spine tingling vocal range reminiscent of legendary songbirds like Chaka Khan, Roberta Flack, and Aretha Franklin, but with a hip-hop, urban soul appeal.

With all of these elements in place. "Feva in Da FunkHouse" takes hip-hop back to its roots by making "feel good music." All music is replayed live reditions of songs from "The Cloud 9 Lounge" album. No gimmicks are involved. The band stimulates satisfaction for hip-hop consumers and aims to leave listeners something to vibe to, but also with something to think about. Hip-Hop Nationalism!!! Word!!!
