Cara’s book has become a personalized legacy of Anne Frank and Anne’s father, Otto Frank. After nearly two decades of correspondence with Mr. Frank, Cara has been become a messenger of hope and renewed spirit. Her talks address the barriers of hatred worldwide and the need to find a way to break through them, indeed, to let them go from our own lives. This was the gift of love that she was given through her longtime mentor, Otto Frank. His wish for Cara and all the other global "family" who wrote to Otto Frank, was to keep his mission for world peace among all nations, religions, cultures alive.
