In The No is a Sacramento-based, monster-talent of a band. The Latin-tinged music styling is well-refined, consisting of acoustic/electric guitars, 3 part vocal harmonies, piano, bass, drums & percussion, each performer excelling in his part.
The music is a stunning mix of well-written, moving love-songs along with rocking guitar solos, fun Stray Cats & Sinatra covers & gorgeous Elton John-like keyboard feature pieces. The bands' influences range from the Beatles, Santana, George Benson, Wes Montgomery and flamenco master, Paco de Lucia.
The band has been playing together for two years & has self-released their first album, Back Alley Walk. The album is a testament to the talent & dedication that has gone into this well-groomed project. The full album is set for an exciting CD re-release in late 2009. There are already plans for a sophomore release, with a new batch of songs quickly becoming live favorites.
In The No is a live-performance centered band. The stylish Sacramento group is down-to-earth, extraordinarily talented and takes the stage with confidence and a contagious excitement that stops listeners in their tracks.

ContrAddiction is an all original rock band based in Sacramento, California. Influenced by rhythm and blues, country, folk, funk and hip-hop, their music captures audiences of all ages. The band consists of five members; Shawn Chang on vocals and acoustic, brother Shane Chang on drums, Eric Speer on electic guitar, T-bone also on electric guitar, and Ryan Sweatt on bass. Push Yourself Away is a small taste of ContrAddiction’s many flavors.
