After a five year break from painting large canvases, Gale Hart drips her brush once again. Accompanying the canvas are those meticulously rendered drawings, recycled steel furniture, and an introduction to graphic work on steel panels.
Hart’s shoot from the hip commentary and her signature graphic style are masterly toyed with, dialing up the emotion and narrative for her distinctive drip paintings or going all visual with those perfect lines, colors, shapes and craftsmanship of her furniture. Somewhere in the middle, accessing both emotion and clean visual design, is a blending of two mediums--painting on steel panels.
