Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Elvis Costello, hailed by Rolling Stone as one of the “100 Greatest Artists of All Time,” makes his Mondavi Center debut. Singer and songwriter Elvis Costello has had a singular career following his musical curiosity. Originally perceived as a part of the British punk/new wave scene of the late 1970s, Costello has matured and expanded over the years to such an extent that he’s now widely recognized as one of the greatest singers, songwriters, and performers of his generation. His music has ranged far beyond rock, touching upon and drawing from such disparate styles as country, jazz, soul, pop, classical, opera, and R&B.

Elvis Costello was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003 (with his original band, the Attractions). His other awards include an Academy Award nomination for Best Song for “Scarlet Tide” (from the film Cold Mountain), a couple of Grammys, and several other awards. He hosts the popular television series Spectacle on the Sundance Channel and has appeared in several films, including Delirious, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Talladega Nights.
