"Eurydice" is the classical myth of Orpheus retold in a spectacularly theatrical form from the heroine's, Eurydice’s, point of view, with humor and surprising plot twists. On the day Eurydice is to marry her true love Orpheus, a tragic misstep sends her plummeting to the surreal depths of the underworld. Memories are forbidden in this world, but an unexpected reunion with her father vividly awakens Eurydice's mind with the love she felt in life. When Orpheus braves the gates of the abyss to find her and mesmerizes the Underworld with his sublime music, Eurydice must decide between her father or her Earthly love, between life and death.

      I enjoyed the show very much - Orpheus and Eurydice were absolutely darling; loved how you used the space! Loved the use of sound (also the lighting)! Loved the stones and the tricycling "devil"! Most importantly, I felt the profundity, especially in the last 15 minutes; surprising how that can be in a witty-bouncy work like this! Loved the energetic and spacially-edifying curtain call! Collapse
