Add Review/Comment
Following the open, juried art show at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center and the Gala and Auction at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center is the will be a Plein Aire Quick Draw Show and Sell Event. The 3rd Saturday Paint Out Group will assist. Artists will check in 9-10am at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center and pay a fee of $30 to ARNHA, which includes a Gala ticket. They will paint in the Nature preserve and in Hoffman park until 1pm, at which time the work will be framed, if needed, and displayed at the Nature Center by 2pm. Work will be for sale at a price set by the artist, one half of which benefits EYNC. 3rd Saturday Painters and Sacramento Plein Air Meetup painters are welcome but only artists paying the fee will be able to Show and Sell.
It is expected that this event will benefit the Effie Yeaw Nature Center greatly with much needed funds and create excitement about art in our wonderful American River Parkway.
