Autism Awareness Day at the Park

Join Autism Speaks at Fairytale Town to learn more about autism, family services, advocacy, research, local resources, children’s entertainment. Also Michael Chez, M.D., the Director of Pediatric Neurology at Sutter Neuroscience Institute, will present “Screening for Autism,” providing information for parents about the signs and symptoms of autism, early screening, diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Chez is a board-certified pediatric neurologist and epileptologist.

"Screening for Autism” sessions will take place at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Sutter Neuroscrience Institute.

Participating Organizations include: Autism Speaks, The Tree House Inc., SENSE Theatre, Disability Rights, Sutter Neuroscience Institute, FEAT, UC Davis MIND Institute, A Touch of Understanding, Alta Regional Center
