The Sacramento Ballet returns to the Mondavi Center to encore last season’s sold-out benefit performance, “A Premiere Event.” The evening will feature the work of dance legends George Balanchine, Twyla Tharp, and a spectacular world premiere by new dance sensation, Brian Reeder.

Mr. Reeder’s work is made possible through a generous grant from the Jerome Robbins Foundation. The Sacramento Ballet is proud to have been chosen to carry on the creative legacy of Mr. Robbins, long-time choreographer in-residence for American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, and the creator of many Broadways shows including the groundbreaking West Side Story.

The one-night-only event includes a reception following the performance with wine and hors d’oeuvres, and the chance to meet artists of the company as well as guest choreographer, Brian Reeder.
