SHEN YUN returns this summer! Shen Yun brings to life classical Chinese dance and music in a gloriously colourful and exhilarating show. Gorgeously costumed dancers move in stunning synchronised patterns and thunderous drums shake the stage. A live orchestra combines the best of Chinese and Western composition. See ancient tales of virtue brought to life alongside modern stories of courage. Experience a sense of beauty and enchantment like no other in this world.

Profound. Sublime. Inspiring. That was the unequivocal response to last year's show. It's traditional Chinese culture as it was meant to be a study in grace, fluidity, balance, and inner strength. A program of nearly twenty masterful dances and songs brings Asia's celebrated past to life on stage. The vigorous drums of the 7th century Tang court will quicken your pulse, while the pastoral charm of inner Mongolian dance will delight your soul. Dozens of brilliant performers, coupled with an innovative full orchestra.

Part of a 20 country world tour, Shen Yun Performing Arts is a unique group of leading artists who share in a vision of cultural renewal. The company is a triumph of collaboration, bringing together over a hundred of the world's foremost classically trained Chinese dancers, choreographers, musicians, and vocalists. It also boasts the world's only full orchestra that embraces both Western and Chinese instruments as its permanent members.

Based in New York, Shen Yun Performing Arts is proud to thus include members who practice Falun Gong. The company aspires to create original performances that not only entertain, but also more deeply educate, enrich, and inspire. The company's rich repertory is drawn from the pages of history, universal themes, and the world around us. All choreography and music performed are original.
