Out of Place sound like Smashing Pumpkins, Dave Matthews Band, Collective Soul, Pedro the Lion, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Counting Crows, Third Eye Blind, The Sundays, Mazzy Star, ZWAN, Lemonheads, Dinosuar Jr., Abra Moore, Death Cab (older stuff), a lot of pop on the radio, Jim White, a lot of classic rock, and all things that make sounds.

TooMuchFiction is the result of years of collaboration between guitarist Kevin Collins and drummer Pat Stanley. Since 1993, this duo has remained the tight nucleus at the center of a seemingly ever-evolving rotation of talented musicians. In addition to Kevin and Pat, The band also features Ron VanH on electric and acoustic guitar, and bassist Fred Schmidt is back after an absence of a few years. TooMuchFiction is very happy to announce the return of vocalist/lyricist Amanda Lynn. Amanda has a very distinctive voice, and we look forward to showcasing her talent on the new cd!

TooMuchFiction perform all original material that has been described as jazzy, alternative modern-rock. The music has been compared to bands ranging from Sarah McLachlan to The Police to Missing Persons to The Sundays, and each member brings a wide, diverse range of influences to the mix. With elements of both old and new music, incorporates electric and acoustic guitars, guitar synthesizers, electronic and acoustic drums, samples and other interesting tidbits, the band has forged a unique and identifiable sound that can only be described as TooMuchFiction.

Degrees of Saturn are a dynamic and extremely versatile trio formed in Charleston, SC. in 1998. They draw on influences such as; Steely Dan, Sting, U2, Allman Brothers, etcetera. From their efforts come an eclectic original sound that, to this day, has been hard to categorize. With a fresh perspective and a new outlook the band is enthusiastically playing a mix of tasty cover songs along with their own brand of well-conceived originals.
