Midtown Cocktail Week Sacramento launched in 2008 as the brainchild of mixologist Erick Castro and Joe Anthony Savala. Midtown Cocktail Week is a dynamic annual event that is ever-evolving to lead the way in Sacramento's cocktail culture. It is a community-wide celebration of Midtown Sacramento's diverse mixology community; a week of both celebration and education of responsible cocktail culture, that celebrates Midtown Sacramento's unique cocktail culture, including cocktail education, guest bartenders, featured industry leaders, and more.

Activity during the week includes:
-Cocktail creation education
-Recognition of local cocktail innovators and leaders
-Diverse and exotic cocktail menus at featured venues
-Encouragement of responsible cocktail consumption

Special events throughout the week at the following locations:
Monday, Aug 9:
-L Wine Lounge, 5pm-8pm
Tues, Aug 10:
-Lounge on 20 5:30pm-7:30pm
Wed, Aug 11:
-DeVere's Pub 4pm-8pm
-Shady Lady Saloon 9pm-close
Thurs, Aug 12:
-Zocalo 4:30pm-7pm
-Ella 9pm-11pm
Fri, Aug 13:
-Red Lotus 4:30pm-6:30pm
-Grange & Scandal Lounge 7pm-10pm
Sat, Aug 14:
-The Golden Bear 1pm-4pm
Sun, Aug 15:
-Hot Italian 2pm-5pm
-Torch Club 8pm-close
