California Lectures presents Terry McMillan, the bestselling author of How Stella Got Her Groove Back and Waiting to Exhale, in conversation. Following this conversation, there will be a lively Q&A with the audience and a book signing. The evening also includes a Lecture Preview: a biographical overview about the author presented by a professor from Sacramento State University. The preview takes place at the Crest Theatre at 6:30 p.m. prior to the author event and is free to all ticket holders.
