The series is open to anyone interested in learning more about poetry and memoir writing. The New Voices workshop is part of the Sacramento Poet Laureate Program under the auspices of the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission (SMAC). The series was developed by Mr. Bob Stanley to reach out to new writers to help them begin the writing process. Participants will learn how to develop their individual writing style in a supportive setting with experienced instructors. The workshops are being led by local poets and writers.

Classes are 90-minutes and limited to 15 participants so early registration is encouraged. Call to register or visit saclibrary.org for online registration information.
