Seniors Bring Their Stories to Life at Asian Community Center

Writers and actors from the Asian Community Center’s (ACC) Community Arts Program (CAP) project will present two performances of “Recollections: From Kooks to Ukes”. Under the guidance of writers Sue Owens Wright and Joe Romano, and theatre director, Dennis Yep, these older adults wrote memoirs and then scripts of events from their lives which they have staged for the performance. ACC’s ukulele group, The Pocket Pickers will join the actors in bringing this outrageous and heart-warming set of short plays to life.
