Nominated for best new artist at the San Diego Music Awards, Maren has a newly released seven inch record with Single Screen Records. She has also fined tuned a new band with Viola, Keys, Guitar, Bass and Drums that poignantly delivers her layered hooks and melodies.

The German born native moved to California just five years ago and her music has since caught the attention of everyone from Linda Perry to The Killers. Maren now hits the road with a masterfully recorded and self released five song EP.  

The journey continues for Maren Parusel, both musically and personally as she sets out on summer dates up and down the West Coast and Norththwest. The music is catchy and the song writing is poetic, and it all comes to life with talented players like Gaby Sanchez on viola and keys, Kyle McGee on bass, and Joseph Abrahams on drums, all music students and able to play at least three different instruments.

There is something exciting about this band and its first road trip with dreams and potential fresh and in tact and the possibilities endless as this group sets out to win hearts and fans and arrive in every new town with the possibility for music aficionados to say I was there when they played here for the first time. There's something passionate about a band that will not listen and do not seem to care about the endless pitfalls and broken hearts waiting out there on the road, as they leave armed with a handful of gigs, some vinyl, CD's and a well rehearsed set bent on winning over the world.
