The New Christy Minstrels Benefit Concert

Under the direction of their founder, Randy Sparks, the New Christy Minstrels will have two special guests – Barry McGuire, whose blend of folk and gospel have placed him in a unique category of singers for the last five decades, and Sacramento's own Chuck Cole, whose banjo pickin' takes you back to the folk singing days of the Fifties and Sixties.

100% of the proceeds from ticket sales (as allowed by law) will go equally to the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival's Capital Campaign and the New Christy Minstrels Foundation. The Fair Oaks Veterans Memorial Amphitheatre is one of the last outdoor venues offering live theatre to the public in Sacramento County. The Festival is committed to the preservation of this facility, and we have developed a plan to remodel the Amphitheatre. We are honored to have The New Christy Minstrels assist us in our fundraising efforts.
