Junk 2 Genius Team Sculpture Competition

For Junk 2 Genius, up to 15 teams of artisan gladiators compete for the coveted “Trophy du Trash” in a two-hour timed “sculpt-off” using recycled materials. All sculptures created at the event will be on display in the Davis Art Center Tsao Gallery, Sept 12-23. Other festivities include art projects for kids using a variety of cast-off materials, food, beer, wine and music.
Team sponsorship levels start at $150. Current sponsors include BTV Development, Davis Ace Hardware, Davis Food Co-Op, Davis Waste Removal, Hibbert Lumber, Hoffmann Automotive, The Shaw Group Inc. and Sierra Nevada Brewing Company.
