Improv 1 Intensive Class

Learn the basics of long form improv. Our new Improv 1 Intensive class is for students who want to have a smaller class size in order to get more stage time and one-on-one feedback. You will learn how to find the game of the scene, how to establish a solid foundation, how to accept and build on other players ideas, and be encourage to play at the top of your intelligence! You will also be exposed to improv exercises specifically designed for smaller classes that will help you progress faster.

Students will have two class performances. One in the middle of the class and one at the conclusion of the class. We believe in learning through doing- so students are able to apply the notes from the first performance to the second which will improve their performance skills. Students are required to see at least two improv shows at the Sacramento Comedy Spot before the conclusion of the class.
