Did you know that California’s State Fossil is the Saber-tooth cat? Visit the display in the Gee Whiz Geology exhibit, and then learn fun facts about these giant cats in the special Discovery Weekend exhibit. Construct a mask, and then follow the saber-tooth tracks outdoors. Can you snarl and growl like a Saber-tooth? We’ll present our tiger, snow leopard, cheetah and leopard pelts and learn about the modern big cats. Make sure to bring your camera for all those perfect picture moments!
