Did you know that many astronauts and space geologists started their careers as young rock collectors? Learn some geology basics this weekend at the Discovery Museum Science & Space Center. Each guest 12 and under constructs and takes home a rock collection starter kit of four basic rock types. Special presentations about rocks are given between 12:30 and 3:30pm. It’s a rockin’ good time for everyone!
