An Evening with David Garibaldi

Organizers of the 11th annual Sacramento Film & Music Festival are proud to announce a very special evening with local performance artist David Garibaldi. David's star is rising quickly as he is dazzling world-wide audiences with his exciting live shows - and his art is appearing on everything from iPhone covers to posters and prints to apparel. Audiences will be treated to a rare evening of up close and personal access to David Garibaldi and his art through the world premiere screening of the documentary film about David's artistic path Walking Dreams (directed by Chad Ross), followed by a live performance of his brilliant painting and awe-inspiring talent.

As an appreciative nod to SMAC, the local arts endeavor that supported him at the beginning of his career, a charity auction will be held for the paintings that David creates that night, with 50% of proceeds going to the benefit the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission (SMAC) through their non-profit ‘Friends of the Arts Commission’. This is an historic event; inspirational and entertaining, and an artistic evening you will not want to miss – plus it offers an exciting way to support the arts too!
