Concerts 4 Charity & SEMF Presents: The New Humans Avalanche EP Release Party with a rare performance by Little Foxes ft. Jacob Golden + Dusty Brown plus, the debut of Favors ft. David Mohr of 20,000, and DJ Shaun Slaughter!

A note from the band: The Avalanche EP represents the culmination of an exhilarating and tumultuous three years. Born on a laptop and refined as a live act, we started playing as The New Humans instrumentally in search of a singer for just under two years. Our immediate impact on the Sacramento scene was humbling though we always maintained that, without a singer, our music would only take us so far. We were hesitant to release any music officially as we always thought of our band as incomplete.

Finally, Scottie put the keys aside and stepped to the mic with nothing but a raw, untrained voice. And it worked. Perfectly. Our first batch of songs with vocals is what you hear on Avalanche. Written almost a year ago, we began recording with a local producer which in the end did not work out. Unfortunately, six or more months in the studio was lost.

We started again with our good friend, Ira Skinner, whose help in the making of this record is immeasurable. Our graphic designer, photographer, and great friend Raoul Ortega created the visual identity of the record, including the artwork, promotional pictures, flyers, and posters. In short, we are very proud of this record. The release party is a celebration of years of hard work and lifetime dedicated to creating. Our 8-song EP will be available for just $5.
