Local author Jordan Summers (60 Hikes in 60 Miles, Sacramento) will be leading a Leave No Trace Awareness Workshop. Leave No Trace promotes responsible outdoor recreation through education, research, and partnerships. This course will cover the seven principles of Leave No Trace.
About Jordan Summers: Jordan Summers has extensive experience hiking, guiding, and “spending absurd amounts of time living and breathing the rock, snow, duff, and dirt.” His books are known for their precise maps, descriptive text, photos, trailhead coordinates, as well as special notes on the geology, cultural history, and the natural beauty of the places that he writes about.
