Walk to Defeat ALS - 10th Anniversary

Take part in the 10th Anniversary of the Greater Sacramento Chapters Walk to Defeat ALS.
The day’s festivities kick off with early bird registration (coffee and pastries will be furnished by La Bou!), live music by Duval and Speck, crafts, vendor displays, and a raffle.
Both the one mile and 5K Walks start at 11am on Ballpark Drive (directly in front of the Stadium). Walkers selecting the one mile route will be treated to a walk around the outfield of River Cats Stadium, while viewing a memorial photograph tribute on the scoreboard—honoring all of those who have courageously fought ALS. The 5K route will include a walk over the golden bridge and the Sacramento River through the tree lined streets of downtown Sacramento and around our States Capitol Building.
Finish the afternoon at the Stadium with lunch and a live musical performance by the band Hardwater.
To get involved, follow these simple steps and make a difference in all those currently fighting ALS:
-Register online
-Sign up to be a Team Captain or a walker (The Walk to Defeat ALS is one of the few walks that don’t require a registration fee to participate, however a minimum donation of $75 per individual walker will entitle the participant to the 10th Anniversary Walk to Defeat ALS commemorative t-shirt)
-Ask friends, family, and colleagues to sponsor your Walk team by making a donation to your team (this could be as simple as sending out an email donation request to your contacts)
-Come out and Walk to Defeat ALS and help us celebrate our 10th Anniversary!
