Walt Gray's Ride for Kids

at Raley Field

This is the first run completely along the Delta! The bike ride leaves Raley Field in West Sacramento at 10am and follows the South River Road all the way to Isleton. It then takes over historic downtown and makes it a street party arriving at 11am. Isleton is a favorite stop for many of us on a weekend cruise. All bikes are welcome!

This year's event will benefit three outstanding nonprofit organizations: Autism Speaks, the Sacramento chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA) and Hope Productions Foundation.

There were 3,000 riders in 2009 and $63,000 has been raised for the charities this year! The seven year total for this event is $320,000 to be donated to kids charities.

      This was our third year participating in the Walt Gray Ride for Kids! This year there were about 3000 bikes and the route from West Sac to Isleton along the river was absolutely beautiful! Everyone had a great time and it's really nice to know that we're out there every year doing this for a great cause. Walt and the team of KCRA put on a great pre-party and after party that included live music, multiple vendors, yummy food and awesome raffle prizes (this years grand prize was a guitar autographed by various famous musicians and singers). If you're a motorcycle enthusiast, this is definitely a ride that you should consider joining next year! We will be there next year for sure! :) Collapse
