Sacramento Living Library: Dick Bertolucci

The Sacramento Living Library, curated by Time Tested Books's Peter Keat and hosted by Midtown Monthly Editor Tim Foster, is a new addition to the River City's cultural scene, with talks, lectures and discussions featuring some of Sacramento's best and brightest. On Aug 22, they welcome Dick Bertolucci.

Dick Bertolucci, best-known locally as the owner of an East Sac autobody shop, is nothing short of a legend in the rarefied world of car customizers. His work has influenced auto design for over a half century and is celebrated by enthusiasts around the globe. In a talk with local auto enthusiast and historian Bruce Woodward, Bertolucci will speak about the early days of Sacramento's "kustom" and racing auto scene, including his association with Harry Westergard and George "King of the Kustomisers" Barris.
