Feva In Da Funkhouse is a live band determined to put the urban swagger of soul music back in to Hip-Hop Culture. Their first live band album Hip-Hop Nationalism: Tha Manifesto is a lush hybrid of original grooves that challenges the quality of music the industry is currently producing. By fusing witty thought-provoking lyricism and musical arrangements with grassroots styles of funk, silky soul, reggae, reggaeton, rock, jazz, and hip-hop, Feva In Da Funkhouse manages to rescue the edginess of black music from the doldrums of radio one hit wonderland and replace it with timeless compositions that could be appreciated as classics years from now.

To top it off, this band can take it to the stage with the best of them. With the understanding that the art of MCing and stage presence is for the purpose of “moving the crowd,” audiences that witness Feva In Da Funkhouse in action helplessly catch “Da Feva”( which is the musical hangover one feels in the aftermath of a live Funkhouse show.) With record sales slumping and internet piracy in full swing the industry as we know it is moving back in favor of artist like Feva In Da Funkhouse that can bring it live and keep it innovative.

No violence, no disrespect, or lip syncing, just pure unadulterated original musicianship, showmanship, swagger and the mission to bring quality to the art. They call it Hip Hop Nationalism- The unification of all styles of black music under the umbrella of Hip Hop Culture. “Soul Hop” is the self-proclaimed moniker used to describe this stellar band’s sound and be on the look out because “the Feva” is coming to a city or town near you. The movement is NOW.
